From Military Kid to Military Turned RCMP Wife to REALTOR®: My Life Through Postings (and How I Help You Navigate Yours)

If you’ve ever packed up your entire life into boxes and thought,

Growing Up Military: Where It All Started

I was born in New Brunswick (hello Shediac/ Fredericton 👋), but my story as a “professional mover” started when my dad joined the military.

Next stop? CFB Petawawa.

And just like that, I learned what so many military kids do:

How to make friends fast
How to say goodbye even faster
How to turn a new house into home

Petawawa became a huge part of my life, and little did I know… I’d be back there again (and again 😅).

Young Adult Life: Finding My Way (and Moving… Again)

In my early adulthood, I bounced between:

Toronto
Back to Petawawa & Pembroke
Then up to CFB North Bay, where I ran the aquatics centre

At the time, I thought this was the busy chapter of my life.

(Spoiler: it was just the warm-up.)

Military Life as a Spouse → Then Plot Twist: RCMP Life

When I moved back to Petawawa with my now husband, we officially entered military family life together.

We stayed there until postings started rolling in:

CFB Gagetown
Back to Petawawa
Then… life threw us a curveball

We transitioned from military to RCMP life what felt like overnight.

Cue:

RCMP Depot Division for training (Regina, SK)
A move to New Brunswick back home
A quick trip BACK to Petawawa to grab all our stuff (because of course 🙃)
Then off to Cole Harbor, NS

While in Nova Scotia, we moved again (because why not?):

Dartmouth → Sackville
Detachment changes
New routines
New everything

At this point, we had it down to a science:
👉 Chaos, but make it efficient.

The REALTOR® Spark (The Moment Everything Changed)

During one of our moves in Nova Scotia, we worked with an incredible real estate agent the Lovely Katie Isenor.

The kind that:

Actually understood relocation stress!
Made us feel like more than just a transaction!
Helped us breathe again during chaos!

And I remember thinking:

“This. This is what I want to do for people.”

It made such a huge difference, compared to every other sale we had ever done.

Becoming a REALTOR® (and Finding My Purpose)

We were later posted to Ottawa, where we settled in Russell.

That’s where I:

Took my real estate course
Built my business
Helped RCMP, military families, and first-time buyers

For two years, I focused on one mission:

👉 Helping families move with less stress and more confidence!

Because I knew exactly what they were going through, and I knew how to help.

Coming Home to New Brunswick (Full Circle Moment)

When the opportunity came to move back home to New Brunswick…

We took it, even though we had built some really great connections. I had won Rookie of the year and Ranked in the top 15% of REALTOR’s® in Ontario for the year of 2024. “Life is an adventure, so live it like it is.”

Now based in Fredericton, I help:

RCMP families
Military families
Relocations in and out of the province
First time Homes Buyers

And yes… we’ve now done:

6+ major moves
With 3 kids
And now 3 dogs 🐶🐶🐶
